Speaker Announcement Round 1

The day draws near, preparations are coming to an end, and we have 21 awesome speakers to announce. It’s an honour to have such a smart group of professionals participate and support the third WordCamp Skopje.

We’re incredibly proud of the speakers list, we are also really sad that we had to pass on so many incredible sounding talks.

Ivan Cosic

Ivan Cosic is the owner of Plain & Hill agency and author of the “Još podkast jedan” podcast. He is a designer, a man of ideas, blogger and lecturer at numerous local and regional conferences. He has participated in various creative and marketing jobs, has worked for over thirty global “A” brands and is the initiator of many internet projects. He is responsible for the design of most WAN-IFRA (World Association of News Publishers) publications, works for the International Science Council and has worked on several startup projects, the most notable being the IndieVoices platform. He believes in the future and the potential that technological entrepreneurship has in Serbia and region, so he organized, together with his team, an internet conference “Live locally – work globally”

Darko Bozhinovski

Darko Bozhinovski is a programmer with many years of experience primarily in the web platform. He is passionate about technical challenges, open-source software, and Linux. Since 2017, he has been active in the Macedonian IT community, organizing events, conferences, lectures, mentorships, and digital content creation.

He collaborates with several companies in the IT sector in various roles as a consultant. Starting from January 2022, he has been active as a professional DevRel expert.

Boro Sitnikovski

Boro Sitnikovski has a Master’s degree in Informatics and works professionally as a Software Engineer. He works on the DevEx team at Automattic, doing engineering hiring, mentoring, workshops, applying and tweaking processes, and tooling improvements.

Uros Tasic

I hold the position of Senior Backend Developer at Maksimer, a Norwegian company. My professional focus lies in WordPress development, but outside of work, I have a strong passion for food, travel, socializing, and cooking. I make the most of my free time by blogging, indulging in culinary experiments, and spending hours in front of my laptop, even to the point of straining my eyes.

Damir Mushanovikj

I’m Damir and I work as a content writer, proofreader, and content strategist. Having worked for over a year and a half, I’ve had the opportunity to create and optimize content for over 100 clients and landed a job as a content strategist where the main goal is reaching the first page on Google. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep knowledge of copywriting and SEO optimization, especially on how to create original content that is free of AI. Additionally, I have attended numerous WordPress meetups, as well as two WordCamps in Skopje where I had the pleasure of volunteering!

Monika is an Employer Branding Consultant and Women in Tech Ambassador driven by a passionate commitment to fostering communities, nurturing startups, and championing innovation.
